Biography
Ms. Naghmeh Akbari zadeh is currently a third-year PhD researcher at Dundalk Institute of Technology, Ireland. Her research focuses on design and optimization of floating offshore wind turbine arrays for Irish coastal conditions, funded by Technological sector Advancement Fund (TSAF). Naghmeh holds a Master's degree in marine engineering with the focus on the optimisation of offshore platform hydrodynamic performance. She also worked as teacher assistant at Dundalk institute of technology and Amir Kabir university. She has presented her work at various conferences and has published papers in international journals and conference proceedings within the wind energy sector. Her research aims to advance the development of efficient and sustainable wind energy systems, with a particular focus on optimising floating wind farms through innovative mooring line configurations and improved aerodynamic performance.Posters
