Predoctoral Researcher in Advanced Signal Processing for Structural Monitoring, CEIT
Biography
Mrs. Marina is pursuing her doctoral thesis at Ceit Technology Center in Donostia-San Sebastián. She studied Physics and Electronic Engineering at the University of the Basque Country and completed an Erasmus+ Master's in Microwave and Photonics. Her research focuses on developing new signal processing and deep learning techniques for smart corrosion monitoring in offshore wind turbines using ultrasound technology, with a current emphasis on pitting corrosion and coating degradation. This work is part of the industrial Willow research project, which aims to design a novel Structural Health Monitoring system capable of providing high-quality data for reliable fleet life assessment through physical models and AI methods to support decision-making and maintenance scheduling.Posters
