Biography

Markel Penalba is Head of the Offshore Technologies & Aerodynamics and Green Hydrogen Technologies laboratories at Mondragon University, and a Research Fellow at the Ikerbasque Science Foundation. He has authored over 100 journal and conference papers and contributed to more than 50 national and international research projects. Markel serves on the advisory board of the JRL-ORE joint research laboratory and is an active member of the scientific and technical committees of several leading conferences in renewable energy and offshore engineering.
