Biography
Mr. Kallinger has been working in the floating wind industry for 7 years. He is currently working as a research engineer in the field of floating offshore wind at the Catalan Institute of Energy Research (IREC). Simulatneously, he is finishing his PhD thesis at the BarcelonaTech University (UPC) in civil engineering. His focus lays on the optimisation of subsea equipment, comprising station-keeping systems as well as the farm-wide inter-array cabling. Prior to this, he studied industrial engineering and energy technology at the University of Applied Science in Hamburg. During his studies he spent 2 years at Ramboll Germany where he focused primarily on the analysis of global floating wind markets and preliminary designs of substructures and moorings.Posters
