Biography
Mr. Maximilian Zweiffel studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and has been a researcher at the Center for Wind Power Drives since 2020. In 2023, he became Team Lead Testing. Currently, he is involved in the Beartec project, which focuses on robustness testing for wind turbine gearbox bearings under mechanical, electrical, and chemical loads. Mr. Zweiffel's research emphasizes qualification methods for high-speed wind turbine gearbox cylindrical roller bearings to mitigate electrical erosion and wear effects. His contributions are vital for advancing the reliability and performance of wind turbine drivetrains.Posters
