Biography

Marta, Chief Technology Officer at RenerCycle, oversees the company's technological strategy, drives innovation, and fosters strategic partnerships with external organizations. With 19 years of experience in wind energy, her career includes leadership roles at renowned wind turbine OEMs, such as MTorres and Siemens Gamesa. At Siemens Gamesa, she served as Control Chief Engineer, acting as the primary design authority for control technologies and defining the technology development strategy and roadmap for the Control Field. Previously, she led the Technology and Innovation Department, managing the Onshore Technological Roadmap, introducing innovative solutions to the product portfolio, and collaborating with universities and research centres. Before entering the wind industry, Marta was a research fellow at the Hamilton Institute in Ireland and a postdoctoral researcher at ESA-ESTEC in the Netherlands, focusing on R&D. She holds an Honours B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a PhD in Control Engineering from the Public University of Navarre.
