Biography

Dr. M. Becker has developed digital twins of wind farms for the past five years. His work focuses on the optimal use of existing infrastructure, for instance, to maximize the energy yield of a farm. To this end, he explores optimization problems, sensor fusion strategies, and modelling approaches. He received his PhD from the Delft University of Technology and is currently employed as a PostDoc, working on wind-driven hybrid power plants and their interaction with the grid and related markets.
