Biography

Professor Mahmoud Shafiee is recognized as a world-renowned researcher in the field of Wind Energy. He is currently the Director of Energy Resilience Centre and a Professor and Chair in Energy Resilience at the University of Surrey, UK. He has over 20 years of research and industrial experience in Wind Energy Operation and Maintenance, Resilience and Security, Decommissioning and Life Extension, and Structural Health Monitoring.
