Msc Wind Energy Student, DTU
Biography
Jose Marquez recently completed his MSc in Wind Energy at the Technical University of Denmark, where he collaborated with the Danish Meteorological Institute on his thesis, Characterizing cold pools and their gust fronts in Denmark. He also holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas where he first started his involvement in wind energy. Jose has research experience at the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory, focusing on offshore hybrid renewable energy systems, and has led projects in wind resource assessment, turbulence modeling, and wind farm simulation. In addition to his technical background, he is active in science communication and community engagement. His work centers on advancing understanding of atmospheric phenomena and their implications for wind energy operations and forecasting.Posters
