Biography

After several years of professional experience in civil engineering, Dr.-Ing. Janka Lengyel completed her doctoral thesis in the field of multiscale urban analysis and modeling. She then held her first postdoctoral position at the Physics Laboratory of ENS Lyon, France, where her research focused on the extraction of local structural features from sparsely sampled real-world data, applying concepts and methods from multifractal systems. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at ForWind, University of Oldenburg, where she works on advancing the understanding of local spatial and temporal dynamics in wind turbine wakes and inflow conditions.
