Biography

PhD in Offshore Engineering from the University of Plymouth, UK, and 10+ years in marine renewable energy and offshore structures. He is currently the Director of the Offshore Energy Division at Typsa, an engineering company dedicated to the development and design of projects across various sectors. He specializes in numerical and physical modelling of fixed and floating offshore projects. Javier has been speaker in the main conference events presenting innovative solutions in the offshore sector. In 2024, Javier presented in Manchester (GOW conference) how to perform sustainable designs for offshore concrete structures. In 2018, he was awarded Best Young Engineer by the Spanish Association of Civil Engineers for his contribution to the fight against climate change through renewable projects. In 2021, he was also included in the Nova List as one of Spain's 111 most outstanding professionals under the age of 35
