Biography

Mr. Hakan Bilgehan has been working in the industrial media sector for 32 years. He is currently the founder and owner of Gazete Makina, an industrial digital media outlet that covers industrial manufacturing, manufacturing equipment, and the renewable energy economy, including wind, solar, hydrogen, and more. He studied Mechanical Engineering at Yildiz Technical University and Economics at Istanbul University. He holds a Master's degree in European Economics from Marmara University and is currently a PhD candidate in European Economics at Marmara University. His research focuses on CBAM and ETS calculations related to carbon-intensive industries. He continues his research in the context of renewable energy, European economics, and energy democracy. He is also a reputable cartoonist, contributing to national daily newspapers and weekly magazines, and has created his own characters.
