Biography

George Diakomanolis is Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of IRIDA A.I. TECHNOLOGIES, a European green tech company delivering AI-powered solutions for environmental protection in wind farms. He has over 20 years of international experience in operations, business development, and strategic leadership across the technology and renewable energy sectors. George studied Business Administration and holds postgraduate qualifications in finance and international management. At IRIDA, he has overseen the development and deployment of the Bird Protect system, installed on more than 400 wind turbines across Europe and Asia, including offshore and high-altitude environments. He is passionate about the intersection of artificial intelligence, biodiversity, and sustainable energy, and has been a featured speaker at industry events and innovation forums.
