Biography

Gabriele Martinelli joined LSEG (previously Thomson Reuters / Refinitiv) and the European Power Research team in February 2016, and since June 2021 he leads the analysis and modeling activities of the team. Gabriele focuses on mid- and long-term price forecasting for Continental Europe, in addition to fundamental modeling of power demand and wind and solar power output. He has a PhD in statistics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and a Master of Science degree in mathematical engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
