Senior Consulting Engineer, Sener
Biography
Mr. Fisas is an Industrial Engineer with 20 years of leadership in the wind energy sector. He played a pivotal role in the development of GE's Haliade 150 and Haliade-X offshore turbines and contributed to Block Island, the first offshore wind farm in the U.S. From 2017 to 2023, he led GE's offshore R&D roadmap and digital product initiatives, including Lifespan. At Alstom Wind North America (2010-2017), he managed multimillion-dollar DOE grants and offshore demonstration projects. Earlier, at Ecotecnia (2003-2010), he led structural design for onshore platforms and supported offshore strategy and M&A. Currently at SENER, he oversees technical aspects of offshore wind projects and leads international partnerships for commercial and research development. His global experience and technical expertise position him as a key innovator in offshore wind.Posters
