Biography

Andy Overton is Head of Business Development at the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult, based at the Floating Offshore Wind Innovation Centre (FLOWIC) in Aberdeen, UK. Andy has a background working for service companies in the offshore oil and gas sector and began working on offshore wind projects in 2015. He has worked in the renewables sector full time since 2020, initially for Siemens Gamesa, with a focus on operations and maintenance contracts prior to moving to ORE Catapult where enabling innovation in the floating offshore wind market is his primary focus.
