Biography

Dorthe Julie Kirkeby is Vice President for Ocean & Wind at Entr, the consultancy arm of Aker Solutions. She leads the company’s activities within offshore wind, aquaculture and other ocean industries, focusing on early-phase engagement, high-quality techno-economic advisory, and comprehensive feasibility and concept studies. Her team’s expertise spans fixed and floating foundations, mooring systems, power transmission, substation design and specialised analyses including CFD, hydrodynamics, structural integrity and technical safety. Kirkeby began her career at Aker Solutions in 2004 as a Marine engineer and has since held a range of leadership roles across offshore and marine technology. With two decades of experience in the industry, she brings a broad understanding of offshore foundations, marine operations and the technologies shaping the future of ocean-based energy systems.
