Biography

Olgierd Geblewicz ukończył studia prawnicze na Wydziale Prawa i Administracji Uniwersytetu Szczecińskiego oraz ekonomiczne w Zachodniopomorskiej Szkole Biznesu. Przez kilkanaście lat związany z sektorem gospodarki komunalnej, w tym przez prawie cztery lata pełnił funkcję prezesa Zakładu Wodociągów i Kanalizacji w Szczecinie. Został też członkiem rady nadzorczej GWIK Sp. z o.o. w Goleniowie. Odznaczony Złotym Krzyżem Zasługi oraz Odznaką Honorową za Zasługi dla Samorządu Terytorialnego. Obecnie pełni funkcję Marszałka Województwa Zachodniopomorskiego. Marshal of the West Pomeranian Province for 15 years, an experienced local government official and manager with a strong legal and economic background. He graduated in law from the University of Szczecin and in economics from the West Pomeranian Business School. For many years, he has been involved in the municipal economy sector, managing, among others, the Water Supply and Sewage Company in Szczecin, and sitting on the supervisory board of GWIK Sp. z o.o. in Goleniow. He is active on the national stage as president of the Association of Polish Voivodeships. He was awarded the Gold Cross of Merit and the Honorary Badge for Services to Local Government, which confirm his long-standing commitment and contribution to the development of local communities.
