Biography

Vera has extensive experience in energy and climate policy, with a career spanning the European Commission, Eurelectric, E.ON, and now TenneT. She previously led Political Affairs at E.ON SE and held expert roles in DG External Relations. She has a strong political network in Brussels and Berlin and deep expertise in European energy markets and policy. She holds degrees in Business Administration (Munich) and a postgraduate master from the College of Europe (Bruges). Vera is also active on the board of the Economic Council (Wirtschaftsrat) in Brussels and serves on the Supervisory Board of EQUIGY.
