Climate and Environmental Impact Manager, Nadara
Biography
Ed is the Climate and Environmental Impact Manager at Nadara, one of Europe's largest renewable energy independent power producers. He is responsible for the development, management and delivery of Nadara's Environmental Sustainability Strategy, including oversight of climate-related areas such as emissions reductions, risks and opportunities and strategic transition planning. Ed studied Petroleum Geology at the University of Aberdeen before entering renewable energy development, and then on to various consultancy roles in the ESG, climate and corporate sustainability space. During this time, Ed advised companies across the energy, industrial, finance and property sectors on carbon accounting, Net Zero strategy development and climate risk, before joining Ventient Energy in 2022. In 2024 Ventient Energy combined with Renantis to form Nadara, where Ed continues to deploy his passion for problem solving and implementing innovative solutions to facilitate holistic decaronisation. Ed is a certified Climate Risk Professional from Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
