Biography

Samira Barakat is on the Leadership Team of the Wind and Solar Division of Vattenfall, responsible for Partnerships, Strategy and Digitalization. She is also the Managing Director for Vattenfall Europe Windkraft GmbH.

Samira has worked internationally for most of her career, from the UK to the Middle East. She joined Vattenfall 7 years ago, from DB Schenker where she was responsible for Strategy globally. She started her career at the Boston Consulting Group and holds a PhD in physics from the University of Cambridge.
