Biography

Chief Executive Officer of Ignitis Renewables. Frank Oomen is an experienced executive in the renewable energy sector with over 15 years’ experience in senior leadership positions. He joined Ignitis Group in September 2025 to serve a 5-year term as CEO of Ignitis Renewables. In this role, he has a mandate to expand the Group’s green energy initiatives in Poland and the Baltics. Frank has a strong track record of delivering large-scale renewable energy projects, including multiple offshore and onshore wind projects, as well as solar and battery projects in multiple EU countries.
