Biography

Evren Sıtkı Güvenç is a distinguished executive with over 30 years of leadership experience in f inance, industrial operations, and the energy sector. He currently serves as the CEO of Polat Energy, having assumed the role in May 2025. Mr. Güvenç’s professional career includes a 23-year tenure at Siemens, where he held senior positions including CFO for Mobility and Building Technologies. In 2017, he joined Sanko Energy, serving as CFO and Deputy General Manager before being appointed as CEO in 2024. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Middle East Technical University (METU), a Master’s from Gazi University, and is an alumnus of the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Babson College. He is a recognized strategist in driving sustainable growth and navigating the global energy transition.
