Biography

Pedro Salvador is a Senior Rotor Performance Engineer at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. He works on prototype turbine validation, combining met mast data and remote sensing measurements (including ground based and nacelle mounted LiDAR) with aero servo elastic modelling to assess rotor performance under different conditions. He also contributes to internal evaluations that support technology decisions and the definition of sales power curve strategies. He has worked in wind turbine performance for the past 10 years, focusing on linking field data and modelling to better understand turbine behaviour.
