Chairwoman, Redeia
Biography
Chairwoman of Redeia since February 2020. She graduated with a degree in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 1991, and two years later, she successfully passed the exams for the Spanish Land and Business Registrars Corps, from which she is currently on leave of absence. She has also completed multiple higher education programs, including the Senior Management Programme (PADE-A-2013) and the "Women on Boards of Directors" programme, both offered by the IESE Business School. Throughout her public career, she has served as, among other positions and functions, the Minister of Housing, the Secretary of State for Housing and Urban Projects, and as the President of the Board of Directors of the Public Land Entity (SEPES). In addition, she has also served as a Councillor in the Madrid City Council and as an Advisor to the Municipal Housing and Land Company, as well as a Member of the Congress of Deputies. She is currently the vice president of the Board of Trustees of the Reina Sofia Museum, member of the Academic Council of the Norman Foster Institute, of the Board of Directors of Closingap. She also sits on the advisory council of Women in a Legal World (WLW), Women Action Sustainability (WAS), WomenCeo and Forbes Women, among others. In the academic field, she is an associate professor on the Master' s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at Nebrija University and the Master's Degree in Real Estate Development at IE University's School of Architecture and Design. She has received numerous accolades, including the Gran Cruz de la Real y Distinguida Orden Española de Carlos III (Grand Cross of the Royal and Distinguished Spanish Order of Carlos III) the Forinvest Award in recognition of her professional career, and the ALUMNI Award from the Law School of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.Panel discussion
