Biography

María Landeira is an Industrial Engineer from Universidad Pontificia Comillas and Renewable Development Delegate for Galicia at Naturgy, where she has over 12 years of experience leading wind energy projects, coordinating end-to-end development of renewable assets, and building large-scale project portfolios exceeding 2 GW. She is currently focused on key transition technologies such as pumped-storage hydropower, battery energy storage, hybrid systems and floating offshore wind, previously served as President of EnergyLab (technology center focused in energy), and collaborates as a lecturer in several programs, as the Renewable Energy Master at Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, combining technical expertise, strategic vision, and a strong commitment to renewable development that respects local, cultural, and environmental contexts.
