Biography

Yvonne Cannon is an Assistant Principal Officer in the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science where she is responsible for green skills policy. She works with partners across government, industry and education to deliver tertiary responses to offshore wind skills needs. Yvonne holds a degree in Natural Science from Trinity College Dublin and a Masters in Environmental Engineering from Queens University Belfast and has more than 25 years experience working in the areas of environmental protection and climate action across both the public and private sectors.
