Head of Onshore Wind & Renewables Performance Lead, OWC
Biography
Oliver Davies is a senior onshore wind specialist with nearly two decades of international experience spanning Independent Engineering, Owner’s Engineering, development support and performance analytics. He leads OWC’s global onshore wind capabilities, providing strategic direction across feasibility studies, resource assessments, technology selection, design reviews, construction monitoring and risk evaluation for major projects and multi GW portfolios. His experience covers the full project lifecycle, supporting investors, developers and lenders from early stage concept through financial close, construction and repowering. In parallel, Oliver leads OWC’s Renewables Performance Team, focussed on analytical services onshore and offshore wind projects. He has delivered or overseen more than 100 GW of performance and energy yield analysis worldwide, including SCADA based diagnostics, operational optimisation strategies and uncertainty assessments. His technical expertise includes LiDAR and floating LiDAR deployment and verification, complex terrain flow modelling, long term performance evaluation and integrating advanced measurement data into investment grade assessments. Oliver has held leadership roles across multiple organisations, managing international teams of engineers and analysts and driving the development of industry leading analytical methodologies. His work combines deep technical capability with strong project leadership, ensuring robust, data driven decision making for complex onshore wind developments around the world.Posters
