Biography

Marcel Gallus works in offshore planning at Amprion, one of the four German transmission system operators. He holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering from TU Dortmund University. Since joining Amprion in 2018, he has held various positions and has been focusing on offshore topics since 2024. Previously, he worked in long-term grid development and contributed to Amprion’s input to the German Grid Development Plan. Together with his team, he is currently developing measures to optimize German offshore planning in the North Sea, while also advancing Amprion’s international cooperation on hybrid interconnectors and coordinating stakeholder engagement at both national and international levels.
