Biography

Riccardo Longo is a Senior Manager for Power System Integration at WindEurope, where he leads work on integrating offshore and onshore wind into Europe’s evolving energy system. With a background in engineering and over ten years of experience across industry, research, and EU-funded programmes, he works at the intersection of technology, policy, and collaboration. Riccardo coordinates stakeholders, including industry players, TSOs, regulators, and EU institutions, to advance solutions on grids, HVDC, and hybrid systems, while contributing to major initiatives such as Horizon Europe projects. He is passionate about building a resilient, integrated power system that enables the large-scale deployment of wind energy in Europe.
