Biography

Adrian Chapple has been working in the engineering and renewable energy sector for over 25 years. He is currently Head of Engineering - Drivetrain at ORE Catapult in Blyth, where he leads the Drivetrain and Electrical Systems testing. Adrian studied engineering at Cambridge University and completed his business education at Durham Business School. Prior to joining ORE Catapult, he held various roles at Gestamp a global leader in automotive chassis design, contributing to significant advancements in structural optimisation and virtual validation. His work now focuses on drivetrain and clean power system testing and validation.
