Biography

Mrs. Palà studied Chemical Engineering and later worked in the photovoltaic industry. She then obtained a Master's degree in Renewable Energies and has been working at the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC) for the past year. She is now starting her PhD at IREC on the environmental impacts of floating offshore wind, with a particular focus on electromagnetic fields generated by submarine cables and their potential effects on marine biodiversity.
