All participants are required to wear their badge throughout the event. Badges are marked according to the type of pass purchased, and participants will not be admitted to the conference or exhibition without their badge. Should you lose your badge, please go to the registration area for assistance.
Catering
Buffet Lunch
A buffet lunch is included for exhibitor staff and conference delegates. Please check your badge to see if lunch is included in your registration.
The buffet lunch is served daily from 12:00‑14:30 in the Lunch Area in Halls 9 & 10.
It is not possible to book a table in the buffet lunch area.
*No tickets for the Buffet Lunch in the Lunch Area will be sold onsite.
A table in each hall is reserved as priority seating for attendees with reduced mobility.
Business Lounge and Coffee Bar areas
Complimentary coffee and water dispensers are available at the Coffee Bars and Business Lounges – indicated on the venue plan.
Cash Outlets
Cash outlets are available for all participants including grab-and-go options and food trucks located along the Avenida.

Charge your mobile
There are charging stations near the North Entrance.
Cloakroom and luggage facility
Cloakrooms are available free of charge in Hall 9, Hall 10 and in the North Entrance, as indicated on the venue plan.
Tickets at each cloakroom are colour coded.
- Blue – NCC North Entrance
- Yellow – Hall 9
- Green – Hall 10
Conference proceedings
Three-day conference pass holders have free access to the online conference proceedings website, published after the event. Delegates will receive an email with login details. The proceedings include PowerPoint presentations, synchronised audio files, video files of selected sessions, posters, and full papers (where available).

The Exhibition Operations Office is located near the entrance of Hall 10.

Event sustainability
Sustainability is integral to our industry and our event organisation, from the planning right through to the assembly and dismantling stage. We’ve looked at every aspect of our event planning, and we aim to align our initiatives with priorities set out under the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
As we work to produce these events, we’ve drawn up a few priority action points for WindEurope Madrid 2026.

Lost and found items can be recovered at the Info Desk located in the Registration area.
Meeting Rooms
Meeting rooms will not be available for onsite booking. There are still some meeting rooms available for booking.
Book a meeting roomPosters
There are over 350 posters on display for all participants to view throughout the event. The Poster Area is on Level 1, near the conference session rooms. Participants will also have the chance to meet poster presenters and discuss their findings during the poster session.
The main Poster Session and Poster Awards Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 9 April from 17:15 to 18:30 in the Poster Area.
This year, we will also organize guided poster tours as part of the main poster session, offering attendees the opportunity to explore a selection of posters and learn more about the research presented.
Press Room
A Press Room is available for accredited journalists throughout the event. The Press Room is in Meeting Room A10.1, Mezzanine level above Hall 10.

Seating Areas
In addition to seating areas available at the Coffee Bars and Business Lounges, extra seating space is available in the following areas:

These areas are available during opening hours on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating cannot be reserved in advance.
See seating areasSpeakers’ Room
The Speakers’ Room (Meeting Room N111 + 112, Conference Area – North Convention Centre, Level 1) is available for all speakers who wish to work on or upload their presentations. Staff are available to help with any queries from speakers or session chairs. Speaker briefings will take place in the Speakers’ Room 30 minutes before the start of your session. The room will be open for the duration of the event.

Transportation
Public Transport
The nearest Metro station is FERIA DE MADRID – Line 8 with exits at the South Entrance to the venue.
The line connects IFEMA with the terminals of Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport and the Cercanías RENFE train network and other metro lines at Nuevos Ministerios towards the city centre.
