The Baltic Sea is emerging as a decisive region for energy generation in Europe. With expanding offshore wind power and growing cross‑border interconnections among the littoral states, the region could host up to 90 GW of generation capacity, strengthening security of supply and resilience across Europe.
At this event, 50Hertz brings together leading voices from politics and industry to discuss how the Baltic Sea can evolve into a strategic energy region of European significance.
