Biography

Djordy Van Maele received both his Bachelor and Master of science in electromechanical engineering technologies from Ghent University, In Belgium. In 2021 he joined the Tribology department of Soete Laboratory as a PhD researcher at Ghent University. Here he currently focusses on the use of condition monitoring technology for the detection and evolution of gear wear.
