Biography
Kristiina Nauts holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from the University of Tartu (2011) and has pursued PhD studies focused on climate change and human impact on lake sediments, with several peer-reviewed publications. In 2013, she began her career as an Environmental Specialist at one of Estonia's largest consultancies, contributing to major projects like highways, airports, pipelines, and wind parks. Her expertise led to her promotion as Head of Spatial Planning and Environmental Units. In 2022, Kristiina joined Utilitas Wind as the Planning and Environmental Impact Assessment Lead, focusing on onshore and offshore wind park development. She became the Head of Wind Development in 2024, overseeing all wind energy projects. Kristiina's career is marked by a strong commitment to sustainable development and significant contributions to Estonia's renewable energy sector.
