Biography

As Head of Consulting at EMD International A/S Wiebke leads a team 14 experienced consultants, covering wind, solar and energy systems. She has been active in renewable energy industry since 1996, mostly in wind resource assessment, with working experience in Denmark, Germany, and UK. Wiebke possesses expertise across all aspects of micro-siting, energy estimation, technical risk assessment, financeable wind energy resource assessment, meteorological data analysis, wind mapping, green field development, site suitability assessment, development, testing and validation of methodologies. She shares her knowledge through contribution to a number of international compendiums about wind energy. With a background in Applied Physics and a M.Sc. in Renewable Energy Systems Technology, Wiebke brings a solid academic foundation to her practical experience, ensuring a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to addressing challenges in wind energy.
