Wind Resource Specialist, Enel Green Power
Biography
Dr. Laura Valldecabres has been working in the wind industry for almost 10 years. She is based in Spain and she is currently working as a Wind Resource Specialist at Enel Green Power (EGP). She studied Industrial Energy Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Valencia and holds a MS.C degree in Renewable Energy from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Awarded a Marie Curie fellowship, she also completed a Ph.D in Engineering at the University of Oldenburg with the topic of remote sensing. She has developed her professional career in the renewable sector, both in academics (ForWind and DTU) and in the industry (Iberdrola, Orsted, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and EGP). Her current role consists of providing technical support to the team and improving the procedures, tools and methodologies followed in a wind resource assessment. Her research is mainly focused on wind resource measurements and techniques.Presentations
