Biography
My journey in wind energy began 2010 with my Engineering Physics studies at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg focussing on wind energy in the renewable energy track. I finished my Bachelor's degree (B. Eng.) in 2013 and my Master's degree (M. Sc.) in 2016. Afterwards I joined the work group Wind Energy Systems of Prof. Kühn as research assistant. I started working on operational analysis of wind turbines using high-resolution measurement data, e.g. the prediction of blade root bending moments using high-resolution SCADA data and a neural network. In 2018 I started my PhD on the analysis of power output fluctuations of wind turbines based on high resolution SCADA data. I investigated the correlations of power fluctuations of offshore wind turbine pairs and their characterisation. Currently, I am working again with long-range lidar measurements for short-term power prediction of offshore wind farms and the prediction of ramp events.Presentations
