Biography

Yesid Antonio Gómez is the OCM Diagnostician Manager at the Bureau Veritas Spain. He´s the responsible for leading all the tasks associated with the diagnosis and developing improvements in the definition and analysis of the condemning limits. He completed his PhD investigating and upgrading the quantification of degradation in used lubricating oils from MCIA to through the technique of infrared spectrometry by Fourier transform (FT-IR). His work focuses on Oil Analysis (OA) in Wind Turbines, area in which you have been working for the last decade, and in which his work team has implemented significant improvements in the quantification of different parameters such as the degradation and oxidation processes of lubricants used in wind turbine applications.
