Biography

Gian Marco Gioffré is the Sustainability Advisor at WindEurope. He coordinates the activities of the Working Group on Sustainability. He advises on policy, regulatory, technological, and operational matters related to sustainability in the wind sector, as well as its connections with other industries. His expertise includes material recycling, circular economy, and sustainable sourcing of (critical) raw materials. He holds a Master’s degree in European Law and Global Risk and a Master’s in Comparative and Transnational Law. He previously worked at the European Commission’s Climate, Infrastructure, and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA).
