Biography

Kathrin works as an independent advisor supporting circular value chain professionals (e.g. corporates, policymakers, academia) in delivering evidence-based, sustainable system change, particularly within the wind energy sector. She holds a Doctorate in Engineering (Dr.-Ing.) from Leuphana University, where she focused on developing and scaling circular supply chains in the wind industry. Prior to her time in academia, she spent six years at a company primarily engaged in developing and managing renewable energy projects, where she was involved in strategic planning, business development, and investment management.
