Mr. Dekker has been working as a geotechnical engineer with SPT Offshore for 3 years. He has worked on the suction pile designs for the Dugeon Offshore Substation Platform and the Aberdeen Offshore Wind Farm turbine foundations, among others and has a special interest in soil-structure interaction and foundation stiffness. He is among the first alumni of the European Wind Energy Master (EWEM), studying at TU Delft, Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and focusing on offshore wind energy.
