Biography
Delphine De Tavernier started her PhD research at the faculty of Aerospace Engineering within the Wind Energy research group in the beginning of 2017. Her research is related to the rotor aerodynamics of vertical-axis wind turbines and she is supervised by Carlos Ferreira and Gerard van Bussel. She obtained her bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering at Delft University of Technology in 2014 and specialised for her masters degree in aerodynamics and wind energy. For her graduation project, she developed an integral-boundary layer engineering model for vortex generators. She graduated in 2016 cum laude.
