Mark is appointed as Foundation System Specialist within Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. In 2015, he was appointed Engineering Manager Foundations for the Nissum Bredning demonstration project. Before that he worked as a Development Engineer on new offshore foundation structures resulting in the Siemens gravity jacket concept with a concrete TP now being implemented at Nissum Bredning. He graduated as a Civil Engineer from Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands in 2001 and started his career as an offshore engineer with Heerema Marine Contractors. In 2008, Mark decided to leave the oil and gas sector and moved to the wind industry, where he joined Siemens Wind Power as a Technical Project Manager on several large offshore wind farms, such as Gwynt y Mor.
