Tobias Meyer holds a PhD in mechanical engineering from Paderborn University and is currently with Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy and Energy Systems. In his research, he focusses on the interaction of dynamics, controls and reliability. His main interest is in wind turbines which adapt their control strategy according to their own current reliability.
