Herm has more than twenty five year experience in the marine, structural and operational aspects of the design, fabrication and installation of offshore platforms and subsea structures for projects in the North Sea, the Gulf of Mexico, West of Africa and in the Far East. Herm has worked for Heerema Marine Contractors and SPT Offshore before he started Orca Offshore bv in 2008 and MonobaseWind bv in 2014. Over the years Herm has developed several self-installing Offshore platforms from concept to realization. Herm holds a Master degree in Naval Architecture from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
