Wilfried Breuer is a manager in power transmission with over 24 years of experience in this sector on a global scale. After graduating at the University for Applied Science in Aachen as Dipl.-Ing. on Electrical Power Engineering he joined Siemens AG in 1989 and worked in projects in South Africa, Mozambique, Thailand and China. He worked with Siemens about 12 years abroad before assuming in 2008 the position as CEO of the Business Unit Transmission Solutions. Since March 2012, Wilfried Breuer works as Manag¬ing Director at TenneT Offshore GmbH in Bayreuth. From January 2014 he was additionally appointed as Member of the Executive Management Board of TenneT Holding BV, Arnhem with additional responsibility for Offshore Wind in the Netherlands as well as international interconnector projects.
