Ms. Vázquez has been working in the energy sector for 7 years. She is currently a technical project officer at the Joint Research Centre – European Commission in Petten, The Netherlands. She studied mining engineering at the University of Oviedo in Spain and at the School of Mines Vysoká škola bansko-Technická univerzita Ostrava in Czech Republic. After her studies she worked at company EDP and at the Spanish Electricity Industry Association – UNESA in various roles in energy policy. Currently her research is focused on the analysis of technology, regulatory and socio-economic aspects of wind energy for policy support.
