Marijn Floris van Dooren has been working as a scientific researcher at ForWind, the wind energy institute at the University of Oldenburg, for three years, and is currently aiming for a PhD in wind energy. Before starting he was one of the first graduates of the Erasmus Mundus program 'European Wind Energy Master'. His current field of study is the measurement and characterisation of the wind flow around wind turbines with the newest LiDAR technology.
